About us

The Allons Church of Christ is a small congregation in Allons, Tennessee. We aim to be the church we read about in the New Testament, no more and no less. Scripture is our guide for worship, teaching, and life together.

Our history

The Allons Church of Christ was established on March 31, 1928. For nearly a century we have gathered in this community to worship God, study His word, and serve our neighbors. The congregation continues today in that same quiet pattern.

What we believe

We believe the Bible is God's word, that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and that through His death, burial, and resurrection we have forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life. We worship in the simple pattern of the early church: singing without instruments, partaking of the Lord's Supper each first day of the week, praying together, and studying the scriptures.

If you would like to know more about what the Bible teaches on any topic, please reach out. We welcome honest questions.

Leadership

Our congregation is shepherded by a plurality of elders, faithful men appointed to watch over the spiritual well-being of the church according to the pattern in Titus 1 and 1 Timothy 3. They serve alongside our ministers and deacons. For privacy, we do not publish individual contact information here; to reach any of our leaders, please use the contact form or speak to them in person on a Sunday morning.
